Musical group Kokoroko are on tour. Expect a dreamy sonic blend of jazz and afrobeats, living up to the beauty of the London-based band’s name, a word meaning ‘be strong’ in Urhobo. After playing at the Royal Albert Hall for BBC Proms in September 2020, the rising stars will be performing hits from their debut album ‘Could We Be More’ at the iconic Royal Festival Hall this summer.

Calling all piano people. The one-day outdoor festival returns to Manchester, promising great food, authentic amapiano, gqom, and kwaito, and a stellar line-up of South African DJs, collectives, and dancers, many of whom will be making their UK debut at Kings of Amapiano. The daytime dance party celebrates Black music, creativity, and joy, and has released a packed calendar of where and when you can catch the vibe.
